THE WEATHER
Dominion Meteorologist. The last of the recent long series of westerly depressions has been crossing the Dominion to-day. An extensive anti-cyclone is now centred over south eastern Australia. Expect moderate to strong south-westerly to southerly winds, reaching gale force in places. Seas rather rough to rough. Weather oold, changeable and squally, with showers in most districts; heavy in places; hail probably on parts of the coast, and snow on the ranges.
