DIFFICULTIES AFFECTING IMPORTS OF POTATOES.

The Canberra correspondent of “The Sun" says: “The only question which has not been finalised in the New Zealand-Australian proposed trade agreement, relates to potatoes. "The Federal Government is unwilling unconditionally to remove the embargo on New Zealand potatoes, but is willing to negotiate for entry into Australia of potatoes from areas certified free from disease.”
