THE WEATHER
Dominion Meteorologist. The final portion of the westerly depression is crossing New Zealand, and a very extensive anti-cyclone Is spreading from Australia across the Tasman Sea. Expect winds west to south-west, strong in places, but mainly light to moderate and decreasing. Seas, in | New Zealand water , moderate on live > East Coast, elsewhere rather rough, but i decreasing. Thero will be some scattered showers in the western and far I southern districts, but improving, and elsewhere fine, with temperatures moderate.
