Fourteen riders competed in the South Canterbury Motor-Cycle Club's pillion trial, which was held over a course in the Waitohi and Hilton districts, on Saturday afternoon. L. Blunden (8.5. A.), who lost 23 points, won the event, J. C. Boys (Matchless), who lost 24 points, was second, and G. Chowles (Panther), who lost 241 points, was third.
