PRIMARY SCHOOLS’ COMPETITION. The draw for next Thursday in the primary schools' competition is as follows: Senior Grade. South v. High School, at Russell Square. Waimataitai v. West, at West End Park. Main, a bye. Junior Grade. South v. Waimataitai, at Russell Square. Main v. West, at Anzac Square. Last Week’s Results. Games played last week resulted as follows: Senior Grade. West beat High School by four runs on the first innings. Waimataitai 96 beat Main 30. P. Williams opened for Waimataitai aad played through the innings for 56 not out. Bracefield (Main) took 3 for 22, Gould 3 for 43, and Mason 2 for 18. For Waimataitai, Heasley took 5 for 3, P. Williams I for 3, G. Thin 3 for 3. Junior Grade. West 53 and 40 for 5 wickets beat South 31 and 32. For West, McNaughton made 18, Ansley 18 not out, and Bracefield 24. Bowling for South, Perry took 7 for 37 and Marr 5 for 12. For West, Raynn took 8 for 23, McNaughton 4 for 15, and Bracefield 6 for 10. Waimataitai 28 and 48. beat Main 24 and 45, by four runs on the first innings. Top scores were Denley (Main) 32, Guthrie 12, Spring 10 not out. Bowling for Waimataitai, Williams took 3 for 10 and 1 for 19. Spring 6 for 8, and 0 for 16. For Main, Gribben took 4 for 10 and 4 for 23; Boyd 2 for 9 and 1 for 17, Budd 2 for 1 and 3 for 2.
