SEADOWN
BASKETBALL CLUB. The annual meeting of the Seadown Basketball Club took place at the School on Thursday afternoon. The balance sheet showed a creditable : balance and was adopted as read. The ; election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr A. G. Williams; captain, Miss I. Brosnahan; secretary, Miss S. ! Hide. Votes of thanks were passed to the retiring secretary, Miss M. Hewson, ' and to the captain, Miss I. Brosnahan, [ for the able support they gave during ; last season. The subscription for this ; season was fixed at 1/-. The Club was asked to send two delegates to the annual meeting of the Temuka Basketball Association, and it 1 was decided to send the captain and ; secretary to the meeting on 11th April. - The matter of a ground was left in the 1 hands of the president, and Miss M. Hewson offered to see about the basketball rings. It was decided to hold a function in the School in the near future. PERSONAL. I ] Mr A. G. Williams is spending a few days at Christchurch.
