APPEAL REJECTED
MURDERESS MUST DIE. VANCOUVER, December 16. By rejecting her appeal, the Arizona Supreme Court has decreed that cop-per-haired Winnie Ruth Judd, who shot two women friends in October, 1931, must die on the gallows. The defence invoked the “irresistible impulse” theory, but the three judges replied: ~We cannot recognise this doctrine as a true test of insanity.”
