JUOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Christchurch, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on MONDAY, 9th JANUARY, 1933. Section 1 Claremont Settlement, area 311 acres, 2 roods, Capital Value £2400. Half-yearly rent £6O. Loaded with the sum of £6OO for improvements. Situated in Claremont Road, about eleven miles distant from Timaru, six miles from Claremont School, and about eight miles and a half from Holme Station Saleyards. Two-thirds of the area is in native tussock and rough faces, providing rough grazing; balance being ploughable. Property is suitable for grazing.
