THE WEATHER
Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind, fresh easterly ruling; weather inclined to be cloudy and unsettled. Dominion Meteorologist. An anti-cyclone located east of New Zealand has intensified, while the depression on the Tasman Sea has been gradually filling up. Expect moderate to strong easterly to northerly winds, but a .southerly change setting in during Friday night or Saturday. Seas rather rough on parts of the East Coast; elsewhere smooth to moderate. Weather, further scattered rain in eastern and far northern districts of the North Island, elsewhere fair to cloudy at first, but later rain becoming more widespread. Warm temperatures.
