TENNIS. The Tennis Club met St. Peter’s on their courts at Temuka. The following were the results (St. Peter’s names first):— Ladies’ Singles.

PERSONAL. Mr K. McNaughton, headmaster of the Kaiata School, Westland, is on a visit to Mr and Mrs J. W. Topham, Seadown. Mrs J. Southward, Spreydon, Christchurch, who has been visiting Mr and Mrs W. Cain, left for Kurow, on Thursday. NOTES. The Education Board’s painters commenced the painting of the interior of the school yesterday.
