STRATFORD RAILWAY
GOODS TRAFFIC BEGINS ON MONDAY. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, December 6. Goods traffic will be worked over the - new Stratford main trunk railway from next Monday. Mr H. H. Sterling, chairman of the Railways Board, made this announcement to-day. He said that although the line between Tahora and Okahukura would still be in the hands of the Public Works Department, train movements would be controlled by the Railway Department.
