At the preliminary hearing of a number of burglary charges in Wanganui, extending from January to December last, Herbert Vivian Walkington Buttrey and Victor Robert Ward (labourers). pleaded guilty to several, and were committed for sentence. Thomas Butler, farmer, admitted two charges, and was also committed for sentence. ; Ward and Butler were allowed bail.
