INTERPROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT. The interprovincial tourney between Canterbury and South Canterbury in the Theatre Royal next Thursday evening, will consist of 10 special bouts, of six two-minute rounds, with the exception of the flyweight contest, which will be four two-minute rounds. The team selected to represent Canterbury is, with the inclusion of Overend (feather) and McKane and Wallace (welters) a stronger side than the team which defeated South Canterbury at Christchurch by 5 k bouts to 31 bouts The South Canterbury team will include the champions of the Ashburton, Timaru, and Oamaru Associations, and will be seconded by their trainers— Messrs J. Thwaites (Oamaru). R. Hewitt (Timaru), and G. Terriss (Ashburton). The following are the teams: Canterbury—P. O'Sullivan, A. J. Bourne. S. McKane. R. Lester. R. Scott, R. Overend. W. Blunden, N.
