PHAR LAP AT AGUA CALIENTE ROYAL RECEPTION PROMISED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received January 26, 7.50 p.m.) SAN DIEGO, Jan. 26. Agua Caliente officials announce that Phar Lap would arrive at Agua Caliente on Tuesday afternoon. Mr James Crofton asserted that plans are being made for a royal reception. Phar Lap will be paraded from the train to his stable via the race track, to give the crowds a chance to see him. DEPARTURE FROM TANFORAN. Entering the straight Satmoth drew level with the leaders, and although Denis Boy threw out a challenge, Satmoth drew away and won with the greatest ease by five lengths, with Denis Boy three lengths ahead of Jeypore. Rosendo was fourth, Inducement fifth, and Vertigern seventh. Time—2min 31£sec. Hoots and counter cheers greeted Satmoth on returning to scale. KURNELL HANDICAP, 6 furlongs.
