BRIDSON LOWERS RECORD. AUCKLAND TEAM FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, January 26. At the Auckland pionships this evening, G. Bridson, the New Zealand champion, in winning the quarter-mile, lowered his own New Zealand record of smin 16 4-ssec, by 3 l-ssec. He also broke the Auckland record of 57 2-ssec for 100 yards by 3-ssec. The Auckland team for the Dominion championships at Timaru is:— Ladies: Miss M. Farquhar, 100 yards, 220 yards, -440 yards and 100 yards backstroke. Miss P. Robertson, 100 yards, 220 yards and 440 yards. Miss N. Stratton, 100 yards and 220 yards free style, 100 yards backstroke.
