MINIATURE RIFLES.

ST. PATRICK’S CLUB. The weekly shoot of the St. Patrick’s Miniature Rifle Club was held last Wednesday evening, nineteen members being present. During the evening the Railway Miniature Rifle Club fired the fourth round of the “Herald" Shield shoot on the Club’s range. The shoot-ofE for No. 10 Trophy, presented by a wellwisher of the Club, through Mr L. McKeefry, was decided, Rifleman F. Gunderson being the winner. The following were the best scores off the rifle with handicaps (those with a possible will shoot-off): —

Gunderson 2 68 70 This evening the fourth round of the “Herald’’ Shield competition will be fired In connection with the weekly trophy shoot, and the first round of the Gilmore Shield competition will commence. WASHDYKE CLUB, Another shoot of the Washdyke Rifle Club was held on Tuesday night, 22 members being present. The shoot resulted in an interesting contest between P. James and A. The honour of winning' the president’s trophy for the first possible In an official club shoot fell to J. Hull, who also won the weekly button. Mr A. J. Jones’ trophy was won by T. Bowers, and Messrs Johnston and Brehaut's trophy by J. Rodgers. Two more shoots remain for the club championship, and an exciting finish is expected between Murray, Cowles and Hull.
