Earthquake in Russia.
SOVIET SENDS RELIEF FUNDS. United Press Association —By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright MOSCOW, April 29. Heavy casualties are reported as a result of an earthquake within three Soviet districts of Nakhichavan, transCaucasia. Many villages were wiped out. More than 100 were killed and Injured. The Gueriussin district of Armenia was also affected. The villages were badly damaged, with numerous casualties. Medical aid and food are being despatched. HUNDREDS KILLED. SOVIET SUPPLEMENTS LOCAL RELIEF. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyl ight (Received April 30, 7.0 p.m.) MOSCOW, April 13. The earthquake death roll is at least 392. Tiflis was shaken, but there were no casualties. The Soviet decreed two million roubles for the Government In trans-Cancasla to supplement local relief.
