IyjOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the intention of the Timaru Borough Council to submit a proposal to raise a special loan for the purpose of improving the water reticulation of the Borough to the ratepayers by means of a Poll to be taken on the day of the Municipal Elections on 6th May, 1931. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £4,500 at a rate of interest of 52 p.c.— the loan to be repayable at the expiration of ten years by means of a sinking fund. The provision of interest and sinking fund to be secured by a special rate of .082 d. in the £. on the Unimproved Value of the rateable property in the Borough of Timaru.
