Fast Flight to the Cape. OFFICIAL CONGRATULATIONS. British Official Wireless RUGBY, April 7. Lord Amulree, Secretary for Air, has sent a message of warm congratulations to Lieutenant-Commander Glen Kidston on his successful completion of his flight to Capetown in days, w’hich breaks all previous records, and which Lord Amulree describes as a very fine performance. Press comment on the flight to-night is highly appreciative, and includes a suggestion that Commander Kidston may make another attack on the record for whole or part of the South African air mail route, on his return journey.
