SWEEPSTAKES IN BRITAIN.
IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT INSTITUTES INQUIRY. United Press Association—By Electrle Telegraph—Copyright (Received April 5, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 4. The “Times” says that the Government has decided to examine the whole law affecting the holding of sweepstakes in Britain, and it is expected a Committee of Inquiry will be appointed without delay Evidence will be heard from every possible angle, but It Is doubtful if it will be possible to take action, as a result of the inquiry, before this year’s Derby.
