BIG FIRE AT NELSON: REMAINS OF A DAMAGED GARAGE AT NELSON All that is left of Kenning’s garage after it had been burnt. Seventeen cars and two large trucks were destroyed, two of the cars being quite new. The local fire brigade was augmented by a large number of experienced men on account of the Fire Brigades’ Conference being in session at Nelson at the time.
