Mr J. A. Nash (Reform member for Palmerston North) gave notice in the House to ask the Minister of Lands (1) Whether he will take steps to prevent the Tongariro Park or any other national park being handed over to private concerns for private exploitation or profit? (2) Is the Tongariro Park again free and open to the people of : New Zealand, its rightful owners, | without supervision from the Tongariro > Park Company?.
