RIFLE SHOOTING.
TIMARU DEFENCE CLUB. The championship shoot over 800 and 900 yards ,to have been fired tomorrow. has been postponed owing to the National Rifle Association’s meeting at Trentham clashing, several Timaru men having left to attend the meeting. A second shot under service conditions will be fired instead, and a very interesting day is anticipated. Handicaps will be declared, and will be available on the range. Shooting will commence at 1.30 p.m.
