YOU CAN’T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS: When a car owner, intending to purchase a new car, obtains values on his old vehicle from different motordealers. he generally finds that some firms are prepared to offer considerably more than the most optimtistic esctimate of its real selling worth. This extra amount offered is obtained of course by the dealer from the excessive profit he is gaining in the sale of the new car. In other words—the purchaser is paying more for his new car to give himself a higher price on the old. The Rover Company's dealers cannot afford, out of the fair profit they make, to give other than fair and reasonable allowances for trade-in cars. Rover prices for cars of proved performance offer unusually sound value to the buyer. And Rover parts and service, maintained by a fully equipped factory depot in Wellington, .are of the same value. 1 Rover dealers will be found* in all important centres.
