The entries in the fat sheep sections at the Temuka Stock sale yesterday comprised one of the biggest sheep sales held at Temuka for some considerable period. Prices remained firm, and there was if anything a slight advance. The sale in pigs opened erratically, but as the afternoon advanced the market stabilised. Weaners at the beginning were either hard to quit, or changed hands at as much as £1 per head.
