SUPREME PENALTY.
ALFRED ROUSE’S LAST HOURS. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 10, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 9. There was a remarkable incident at Bedford Gaol, on the eve of Alfred Rouse’s execution, when his wife’s last visit was interrupted, to enable him to say good-bye to Helen Campbell, whom he bigamously married. Mrs Rouse said: “Arthur wanted me to be the last person to see him. He was concerned about his son, who is Helen’s child. He asked me to see if she had enough money to take the boy to the country.’’
