WIRELESS ’PHONES.
RAPID PROGRESS ANTICIPATED. United Press Association—By Eleotfla Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 9. The Postmaster-General, in the House of Commons, said wireless telephone calls to Australia averaged 27 weekly. He hoped the number would be larger when trade improved. He also hoped that in a few months there would be an Anglo-New Zealand service, by using a switch from the Australian circuit.
