Mr F. L. Wooles. Wind moderate to strong northerly; weather fair to cloudy, and very warm.
Outlook for week ending March 16th: Wind mainly westerly to southerly; weather fair at first, but more or less unsettled during the latter part of the period, with fair rainfall likely.
Dominion Meteorologist. The anti-cyclone is now moving slowly off New Zealand, and a depression is approaching from the Tasman Sea. Expect moderate to strong northeast to northerly winds. Seas smooth to moderate, later rising south of Cape Egmont. Weather cloudy and In places misty or foggy; otherwise fair at first, but becoming unsettled with rain shortly in western districts, and fairly general rain likely after 24 to 48 , hours.
