The Progress, which was delayed by rain on Saturday, loaded general cargo for Wellington. New Plymouth and Waikato Heads at Timaru yesterday, and sailed for Lyttelton. The Breeze discharged northern cargo at Timaru yesterday, and sailed in the afternoon for Dunedin. She is expected back from Oamaru on Wednesday, to load for Wellington and Wanganui. . The Katoa completed discharge of Australian cargo at Timaru yesterday, and sailed last night for Akaroa. The Storm, on the Wellington and Wanganui run, is due to arrive to-day from Dunedin. , The Holmdale is expected to load i general cargo for Wellington and Wanganui at Timaru on Thursday. The John, of the same fleet, on the Wellington. New Plymouth and Waikato run. is listed for the following day from Dunedin. The Gale should reach Timaru from Dunedin about Friday. Her loading ports are Wellington, Picton and WanS The Kahika is scheduled to load at Dunedin on Friday for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. Under favourable conditions she will arrive here on Bunday from Oamaru, and on Monday Is expected to proceed to Lyttelton. The Waimarino is expected to leave Auckland to-day for South Island ports, including Timaru. The vessel has northern cargo for discharge here, and is to load also for Wellington and Auckland, about March 20th. The motor vessel Port Waikato is not expected to leave for Australia this trip, and her present itinerary is that she will reach Timaru on March 21st from Oamaru, to load general cargo for Whangarei and Dargaville. The Waikouaiti should arrive from Australia later in the month, to discharge general cargo. Overseas. After completing discharge of their : flew Zealand cargo, the Shaw, Savill, and Albion liners lonic and Tainui, which are due in England on March L 4 and during May, respectively, will lay up for about six months for overhaul. The Mataroa and Tamaroa will also be laid up in England for shorter periods. The laying-up of the Tainui and lonic will result in a re-arrange-ment of the Company’s sailings from Home. There will be no passenger sailings from England in April, June and July, although the cargo services will be maintained. OVERSEAS.
