CAN ROUSE DISCLOSE IDENTITY? United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 8, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 7. It is revealed that the remains of the unknown victim, who perished in Rouse’s burning car, are still uninterred. Many believe that Rouse could throw light on the identity of the victim, whose burial has been delayed until Rouse’s execution which is fixed for Tuesday.
NO REPRIEVE. ROUSE TO BE EXECUTED. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 8, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 7. The Home Secretary (Mr Clynes), has refused to reprieve Rouse. ROUSE CONFESSES. "The News of the World,” says that Rouse since the dismissal of his appeal admitted his guilt. He said, “The jury were right.” He also said that he came to the conclusion, from his conversation with the victim, that he was an ex-convict who resented inquiries about his identity.
