FALSE ALARM.
REPORTED AIRPLANE ACCIDENT. By Telerraph—Press Association NELSON, March 8. A lorry-driver, who was proceeding along the Wakapuaka road towards Blenheim yesterday morning, reported seeing an aeroplane in difficult es. The machine was on fire, and appeared to crash in the sea outside the Boulder Bank, some three miles distant. Inquiries have resulted in all aviators likely to be in the vicin’ty being accounted for, and it is believed that the observer must have been mistaken.
