MINIATURE RIFLES.

GLEN-ITI CLUB. The annual meeting of the Glen-iti Club was held in the clubroom on Monday evening. A fair turn-out of members took part in the proceedings The president, Mr Curr, in presenting the annual report, congratulated the Club on a very successful first season. Thanks were due to those gentlemen who allowed their names to be associated with the club as patrons, also to the secretary, Mr E. Winnington, for the good work he had done. The season was officially opened on llth August with an informal shoot. A card party that was held during the same month was not up to expectations, owing to want of support of club members. The inter-club friendly matches with Claremont were an unqualified success, and were thoroughly enjoyed by all. The wind-up social and dance was a very successful function, and helped the funds of the club very materially. The financial position of the club was sound, and next season was looked forward to with confidence. Thanks were due to all those who donated trophies or other gifts. S. Nicol; committee, Messrs J. Blamires, Wallace Finlay, W. J. Hodgen, J. McArthur, A. Jackson. A. Bone, A. E. Jackson, R. Underwood; handicappers, Messrs A. Jackson and C. Smith. Two new members, Messrs T. Curr and D. Black were elected. The opening shoot was fixed for April 13th, 1931.
