Mar. 13 , NOTES. The Holmdale arrived yesterday morning from Oamaru, to load for Wellington and Wanganui. She sailed late in the afternoon for Lyttelton. The Kahika reached Timaru yesterday from the south, and after loading for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, sailed in the evening for Lyttelton. The Wainui is expected to arrive to-day from Oamaru. She is to load Wellington and Auckland general cargo at Timaru. The Opihi is listed to arrive to-night from Oamaru, on the Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth run. Under favourable conditions she will sail the same night for Lyttelton. The Progress is expected to load for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato Heads at Timaru to-morrow. The Kaimiro is due on Friday morning from Oamaru, to load for Lyttelton and Westport. The Calm, on the Wellington and Wanganui run, is set down to reach here on Saturday from Dunedin. The Waimarino is expected to leave Auckland early next week for South Island ports, including Timaru. Overseas. The Port Alma, which is to load frozen meat, wool and general cargo for the United Kingdom, is scheduled to arrive on Monday from the south. The Somerset, which has general Home cargo for discharge at Timaru, is expected to arrive on March 19th from Port Chalmers. The Maimoa is due from Lyttelton on the 17th, to load general cargo, dairy produce and frozen meat for London and West of England ports.
