The following officials will control the meeting:—Judges, Messrs H. H. I Fraser, G. V. Tozer, R. A. Rogers; gates, Messrs R. Rennett, R. Peeble; timekeepers, Messrs J. Fraser, G. Haywood; ambulance, Mr A. Toneycliffe; mark stewards, Messrs W. Ellems, J. Willmott, T. Stoddart, B. Lovegrove, R. G. Slade, R. Hall, P. Tutty; starter, Mr F. Ward. The machines in the motor pacing event will be ridden by T. Stoddart and B. Lovegrove, and the contestants will be W. Willmott and H. W. Birch (Christchurch). As he has had previous experience behind the motors, H. Birch should prove a formidable opponent to Willmott. Unfortunately, D. Cremin will probably be unable to compete, as was originally announced.
