KILLED BY FALL OF ROCK. By Telegraph—Press Association. WESTPORT, March 3. A labourer named George Shorrock (22), single, was killed by a fall of rock near Hawk's Crag to-day. MOTOR CYCLIST KILLED. Albert Hunt (17), a pupil of the Southland Boys’ High School had a seizure while bathing in the tepid baths this evening, and died before he could be removed from the water. Hunt was unable to swim, and was making his way along the edge of the baths when the fatal seizure occurred. He was immediately removed from the water and artificial resuscitation was applied, without success.
