IMMIGRATION RESTRICTED IN U.S.A. United Press Association—By Elootrlo Telegraph—Copyi *ght WASHINGTON, March 2. Mr Jenkins' Bill restricting immigration for two years was passed by the House to-day. The Bill aims at aiding unemployment, and will now go to the Senate. It proposes to limit the quota of immigration from European countries to 90 per cent, and restrict entrances from the Western hemisphere to 10 per cent. Those coming during the fiscal year 1929 from the Philippines are not affected.
