CONCERTS ON THE BAY.
To the Editor of the “ Timaru Herald.” Sir, —I noticed at the Caroline Bay concerts yesterday that the children were kept down from the Band stand. If the officials would go a bit further and keep the children off the seats, it would give a rest to the elder people. The children have had a good time, and will continue to do so for a few days; surely they can give up the seats for the short time the concert is on. Some parents are thoughtful and make their children give up their seats. — I am, etc., A MOTHER.
