FIRE IN ADELAIDE.
AMMUNITION WAREHOUSE DESTROYED. United Press Association—By Hlectrio Telegraph—Copyright ADELAIDE, December 29. A large section of the East End of the City was threatened last night when the ammunition warehouse of Messrs. Flavel and Sons was burned to the ground. It was a most spectacular blaze. Goods worth many thousands of pounds were destroyed. Huge supplies of ammunition went off with a terrible bang. Adjoining buildings caught fire, but a good save was effected by the brigades. Exploding bullets made holes in many buildings.
