THE WEEK’S REGISTER. By Telegraph—Press A peculation NEW PLYMOUTH, December 29. A decrease on the previous week’s total number of unemployed, registered for the week ending December 22, Is revealed by figures supplied last night by the Minister of Labour. The total for the week, is 11,371, and that for the previous wee-. 11,442, a decrease of 71. Details of registrations at the Labour Bureau and post offices in the main centres, with the previous week’s figures in parentheses are:— Auckland 3113 (3101). Wellington 1735 (1854). Christchurch 1835 (1771). Dunedin 628 (687). Invercargill 192 (216). Of 11,371 registrations for the Dominion, 6715 are men with dependents; 4652, men without dependents.
