WRESTLING.
WALKER EEATS McDOUGALL. LOSER INJURED By Telegraph—Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, December 28. Lifting Scotty McDougall at arm’s length above his head, George Walker slammed his opponent on the mat with a sickening thud. He waited a fraction of a second for him to recover, then dived on him to use an anklehold until McDougall signalled submission, thus ending in the fifth round a dramatic wrestling bout staged in the open air before a large crowd. McDougail seriously wrenched a joint where the spine joins the pelvis. Walker war entitled to sixty per cent, of the pursf and McDougall to forty, but at the conclusion Walker announced that as his opponent was seriously hurt he would donate ten per cent, to McDougall. *
