Two very successful cabarets were held at the Broadway on Boxing Night and on Saturday. The artistic room looked even more beautiful with extra decorations of gorgeous colourings of deep chery and black, bowls of red and yellow flowers, everywhere. Many attractions were added in the shape of a novelty light with coloured little balls, squeakers, etc. A cabaret ballet was introduced by Misses Nellie Hill, Greta Halkett and Valmai Skilling (pupils of Miss R. Ford). Mr F. Edney and Miss May Donaldson gave demonstrations. Some beautiful new dance music was introduced. Floral tributes were presented by the president and hostess, Mrs Stanley Hempton, of Roseville, to Lady Game, and also the Lady Mayoress, Miss Hilda Marks, Lady Barlow, Lady Braddon and Mrs W. Holman, who were guests. At the official table were Lady Game, Mrs Stanley Hempton, Lady Barlow, Lady Braddon, Sister M. L. M’Donald, non. secretary, Mrs V. Nattrass, hen. ;reu , surer, Mrs W.
