JOINING THE CIRCLE.
May I join your circle, Peter Pan? I’m sure you are all a merry clan. Your weekly letter I always enjoy, As does every Circlian girl or boy. May I have for my pen-name “Moowani”? Which means “great hunter with fearless eye.” Last March, I was eleven years af age, Which is not too old for the “Children’s Page.” I hope this liitle rhyme will be Put in the “Page” for me to see, And some day, Peter Pan, I’ll write You a little story. Now, good-night. (3 Marks and a Merit Card awarded to “Moowani,” —Ken Philip, Waimate, aged 11).
