TIMARU P. AND T. CLUB. At the annual general meeting of the Post and Telegraph Tennis Club, held on 21st. August, the election of officers resulted as fc^ows:—Patron, Mr C. R. Ingram; president, Mr A. F. Parfitt; vice-presidents, Messrs S. J. Taylor, N. D. Mangos, G. Clare, F. A. Hopkins. H. J. Brunt, P. W. Donaldson, E. E. Earnshaw, T. M. Cotter, T. H. Dudley, E. E. Wallace, R. Saggers, and G. H. Ferguson; captain, Mr R. A. Heron; auditor, Mr E. E. Wallace; committee, Misses Kemp and Meredith, and Messrs Applegarth, Reid, Simmons, Stevens and Tobm; treasurers, Messrs Reid and Griffin; selectors, Messrs Stephens and Heron; transport officers, Messrs Applegarth and Heron; grounds committee, Telegraph members; secretary, Mr H. A. Griffin. The opening day was fixed for 13th. September.
