The Wainui shipped general Wellington, Napier and Gisborne cargo at Timaru yesterday, and sailed in the afternoon for Lyttelton. The Progress should be here this morning from Dunedin, having left the southern port last night. She is to load general cargo for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato Heads, and is to sail in the evening for Lyttelton. The Storm, on the Wellington and Wanganui run, is expected from Oamaru to-day. The Kalingo, which has Australian coal for discharge, is due to-day from Lyttelton. Under favourable conditions, she will sail for Wanganui on Saturday night. The Totara, having loaded for Timaru, Lyttelton and New Plymouth at Dunedin, is expected to leave that port to-day for Timaru. She is timed to'arrive here on Saturday. The Kamona has been delayed on the Coast, and should leave Westport to-day with coal for ports including Lyttelton and Timaru. The vessel is timed to make Timaru on Tuesday, and from here will proceed to Oamaru. The Holmdale, on the Wellington and Wanganui run, is due on Tuesday; while the John is expected on the following day, when she will take Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato Heads cargo. The Gale is scheduled for Wednesday from Oamaru. Her loading ports are Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. The Waipiata, for Wellington and Auckland loading, is set down to call at Timaru >on August 27. The vessel is expected to sail the same day for Wellington direct. Overseas. The Pakipaki arrived yesterday morning from Dunedin, and berthed at No. 3 wharf. She should continue her discharge o f Home cargo till Saturday, when she is to sail for Port Kembla direct. The Canadian Cruiser, at present in Lyttelton, is due at Timaru on Saturday. She has Canadian and American general cargo for discharge, and after loading return general cargo is to proceed to Dunedin. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitane, on her last trip from the Dominion to Southampton. occupied 31 days 9 hours, which, among nautical men, is regarded as something in the nature of a record The Rangitane reached Southampton yesterday morning. The Remuera has been delayed, and is now scheduled to arrive at Timaru on August 27. The vessel is to load frozen meat and general cargo for London. OVERSEAS.
