FAIRLIE.
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH. On Thursday a very successful evening was held in the Sunday Schoolroom. The programme was composed of Scottish items. The Rev. A. Morton contributed largely to the success of the evening, with Scottish proverbs and amusing stories. The following was the programme of musical items.—Pianoforte solo, “Coronach,” Mrs Elder; chorus by the choir, “A Hundred Pipers”; solo. Mr A. Edward, “My Ain Wee Hoose"; chorus by the. choir, “Craigrelea”; duet, “The Rowan Tree,” Miss E. Giddings and Mr J. Burt; solo. Mrs M. E. Eagle, “Angus Macdonald”; solo. Mr M. Eagle, “Annie Laurie”; duet. Mrs Shears and Mrs Eagle, “Ye Banks ari Braes”; solo, Mr A. Edward, “Mary ; chorus by the choir, “Bonnie Charlie.” RIFLE SHOOTING.
