GERMAN CRICKET IN ENGLAND. British Official Wireless RUGBY, August 12. The German cricket team now in England visited the Oval yesterday as the guests of Mr H. D. G. LeversonGower, president of the Surrey County Cricket Club. They were shown over the pavilion and the ground,, and inspected the pitch now being prepared for the fifth test match, which begins on Saturday. They witnessed a match between Surrey and Middlesex, and lunched with the president.
