FLIGHT OF R-100
JOURNEY OVER LONDON PROPOSED. British Official Wireless RUGBY, July 26. The airship RIOO left her base at Cardington to-night on an extended flight, and will probably proceed via Birmingham. Derby and the Bristol Channel to the English Channel. It is expected that she will fly over London to-morrow evening, before returning to Cardington. Weather maps are to be transmitted to the airship during the night from Cardington. The airship’s next flight will probably be to Canada in a few days' time.
