FEDERAL GOVERNMENT’S TRIBUTE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 28, 12.15 a.m.) CANBERRA, July 27. To-day being the birthday of F. C. Ewen, of the Royal Australian Air Force, who was killed the day the Federal Parliament was inaugurated at Canberra by the Duke of York, a laurel wreath received from his mother now resident in Auckland, was placed on his grave by Senator Green (Minister of Defence) in the presence of a church congregation. Mr Green paid a tribute to a brave flying officer.
