NATIONAL DAIRY ASSOCIATION. By Telegraph—Press Association. PALMERSTON N.. July 23. An extraordinary meeting held this . morning of representatives of dairy i companies interested in the National j Dairy Association, took the formal action necessary for the liquidation of the Association, and reconstruction as a limited company. The chairman (Mr Morton) said the object of the meeting was to confirm the resolution passed at Hamilton to the effect that it was expedient for the share capital of the Association to be taken over by a new company, to be known as the National Dairy Association of New Zealand. Ltd.; that the existing Association should be wound ; up voluntarily; that the assets should • be transferred to the new company in the form of share capital. A resolution was passed confirming the motion passed at Hamilton. The committee appointed at Hamil- \ ton recommended that a sub-commit- ■ tee of the executive should be appoint- I ed to conduct activities other than > commercial trading, and that a part { time secretary should be appointed. This was agreed to. it being explain- j ed that the object of the resolution was j for the committee to devote its activi- < ties to a particular class of work.
