LATE SIR ROBERT STOUT.
WANGANUI LEGAL TRIBUTE. By Telegraph—Press Association WANGANUI, July 22. Before a full muster of Wanganui barristers, solicitors and Magistrates, Mr Salmon paid a tribute this morning to the memory of Sir Robert Stout. Particular reference was made to his wonderful capacity for work, his kindheartedness, and consideration at all times for counsel and litigants. Deep regret was expressed to the widow and family at his passing. The Magistrate, Mr Salmon, concluding his remarks, said: “The great men of the last generation are passing out, but it remains for the new generation to emulate their example.”
